How equal-edge cropping works
The slider removes the same percentage from the top, right, bottom, and left edges. It is a simple equal-margin crop rather than a freeform selection tool.
Practical answers
- The crop is applied locally in the browser.
- The same percentage is removed from every edge.
- A high setting can remove important content.
- The original file remains unchanged.
- The processed result downloads as PNG.
- The preview updates when the slider changes.
- Very small images leave less room for cropping.
- This version does not support an arbitrary crop rectangle.
- Only browser-readable image formats are accepted by the picker.
- Check the complete preview before downloading.
